複数枚の生地を針と糸でかがったり、縫い合わせて衣服を作ります。
袖や身頃などの採寸を行い、その寸法をもとに形状などを記入した図面を作成し、パーツごとに切り出します。服の各パーツに分けた型紙をもとに生地を裁断します。
